Stuck with Your Interiors? My 'Designer for the Day' Service Might Be Exactly What You Need

Ever found yourself paralysed by paint charts?  Obsessed with Pinterest boards but no closer to a finished room?  You’re not alone.  Interior design can be a minefield of decision fatigue — especially when you’re drawn to bold colours, playful style, and a bit of drama (in the decor sense, not the life sense).

That’s why I’ve launched a new service I’m incredibly excited about: Designer for the Day.  A full, focused six hours of in-person interior design help with me, right here in colourful, creative Bristol.

Let me break down what it is, who it’s for, and why it might just be the magic bullet for your interiors conundrums.

What is Designer for the Day?

Think of it as your very own design power session.  A one-on-one, in-person day (6 hours, to be exact) where we dive deep into whatever part of your home is giving you grief — or just needs a good dose of colourful, considered attention.

It’s not a vague consultation.  It’s not a week of back-and-forth emails.  It’s an energising, productive day of decisions, creativity and progress.  You bring the questions, I bring the answers (and the samples, and the floor plans, and the excitement).

Cost: £450 for the day, including a follow-up design summary.
Location: Bristol and surrounding areas.
Results: Very likely to include happy clients, bold design moves, and at least one joyful wallpaper decision.

Who’s It For?

If you’re a homeowner, living in or around Bristol, and your style leans towards the bold, the colourful, and the playful — but with a side of "Is this too much?" — this service was designed for you.

You might be:

  • mid-renovation and overwhelmed by choices

  • looking for creative solutions for issues like awkward spaces, lack of storage, etc.

  • tired of playing it safe and want your home to reflect your personality

  • unsure how to pull a space together that feels stylish and lived-in

  • dreaming of injecting your home with more character, colour, and cohesion

You know you don’t want another greige living room.  You do want interiors that feel distinctive, well thought-out, and a little bit joyful.  We’re going to get along just fine.

What Can We Achieve in a Day?

Honestly?  A lot more than you might think.

Depending on your goals, Designer for the Day might include:

  • crafting a colour scheme you love (not just “can live with”)

  • selecting finishes like paint, wallpaper, flooring or tiles

  • reworking your furniture layout for better flow and balance

  • sourcing statement pieces or subtle finishing touches

  • styling shelves, nooks, alcoves and awkward corners

  • designing bespoke storage solutions

  • reviewing renovation plans or helping you avoid expensive mistakes

  • creating lighting & electrical plans

And because we’re working together in real-time, you get immediate feedback, fast decisions and actual design momentum — no more second-guessing yourself endlessly.

What’s the Process?

1. Before the Day

You’ll fill out a short questionnaire so I understand what you need, what you love, and how you live.

2. On the Day

We spend six hours working together in your home (or on-site if you’re mid-build).  It’s relaxed, hands-on and collaborative.  I’ll bring samples, swatches, ideas — and a game plan.

3. After the Day

You’ll receive a follow-up PDF with everything we covered: ideas, product links, notes, next steps.  It’s your design action plan in a colourful, considered little bundle.
